La Sucrière, the venue

La Sucrière has become the iconic place of the Docks, at the heart of the Lyon Confluence area. This building of the 1930s has been completely renovated in 2011 and became, in a few years, a major artistic and cultural place of Lyon. This historic venue shows that it is possible to preserve our industrial heritage and give it a new cultural vocation.

Every year, La Sucrière hosts around 50 events, and stages artistic and cultural exhibitions of national and international renown all year long.
